Position Summary
Seeking an outgoing, service-oriented PC Support Specialist with excellent problem solving capabilities and communication skills, to support end-users, workstations and servers at our Dallas area locations. This is a fantastic opportunity in a rapidly growing, innovative, financial services company!
Major Duties and Responsibilities: PC Support Specialist with 2-4 years experience supporting Help Desk operations. This includes experience in answering customer inquiries (via telephone, email, face-to-face), and perform on-site visits to install, troubleshoot and maintain PC desktop/server systems throughout the bank. Supporting Windows Vista and Windows XP, PDA’s, trouble ticket remediation and supporting move/ add/ change activity. Diagnose and correct technical problems that may occur in the operation of all computer systems and software applications. Provide timely and effective customer services support to configuring PC’s/Servers, computer procurement tasks, inventory and asset tracking efforts, coordinating vendor support, and other customer service responsibilities as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills
Special Training or Skills: Proficiency in technical matters dealing with desktop/server microcomputers, data communications, and local/wide area network technologies is expected. Ability to work on and complete multiple customer service computer support task simultaneously. Experience supporting Windows Vista and Windows XP", PDA’s, trouble ticket remediation and supporting move/ add/ change activity.
Minimum Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent related work experience. Related certification preferred (Windows XP, MCP).
