And with more banks adding locations in the DFW Metroplex, competition for the area’s deposits is heating up. The article provides a list of banks that had an increase or decrease in assets. White helped underwrite the play “A Night on Broadway”. Texas Tech graduates who are big names on Broadway flew to Dallas to perform in the production. The event sold out and generated $200,000 in ticket sales and sponsorships. The profit from the performance has been donated by White to establish the Lee Ann and Alan White Regents Endowed Scholarship fund. The proceeds will be provided to Texas Tech performing arts students on an as-needed basis.
