David Seim is vice-chairman of PlainsCapital Bank Lubbock.  Seim has 35 years of banking experience.  He is a member of the PlainsCapital Bank Board of Directors and the PlainsCapital Corporation Board of Directors. He attended Texas Tech University and is a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University where he currently serves as Chairman on the school’s board. Seim is an active member of the Lubbock community, involved in numerous business and community organizations including serving as Chairman of the Covenant Hospital System here in Lubbock.
