Accounting Assistant
Hours: Part Time
Position Summary: Assist the Accounting Department in maintaining the bank's financial records by preparing daily general ledger reconcilements, monthly financial reports and various daily accounting duties.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Performs accounting activities such as reconcilement of the general ledger and preparation of various accounting statements and financial reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Daily review of online transaction report for unposted batches
- Performs other related duties and projects as requested
Education and Experience:
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
- 1 to 3 years Accounting experience preferred
- Computer literate with emphasis on Excel
- Excellent math skills
- Typing 40 Wpm
- Ten key by touch
- Professional appearance
- Excellent communication skills
