ACH Representative
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Position Summary: Interact with ACH Origination customers via the telephone and email. Respond to inquiries and provide information on request. Process daily ACH Origination files, ACH returns and reconcile all ach origination related reports.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Handles customer complaints and problems, identifies common or recurring problems, and takes steps to resolve these problems.
- Responds to telephone and electronic correspondence with customers as well as bank personnel.
- Responsible for processing all received ACH Origination files and ACH returns
- Providing customers with financial services information/assistance.
- Review and balance all reports related to ACH Origination
- Reviews test files and explains to the customer what changes are needed
- Prepare and processes ACH manual returns using FedAdvantage
- Acts as backup to the Internet Banking telephone support.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma
- Two years' customer service and good understanding of bank practices.
- Strong Customer Service skills
- Excellent telephone etiquette
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- High level of data entry accuracy
- Working knowledge of windows based PC applications
- Good understanding of the ACH Origination process and general banking practices
