PlainsCapital Bank's new Internet banking system is up and running! PlainsCapital Bank converted to a new Internet banking system for two reasons: this new system has a more updated design and provides us the opportunity to expand the features it offers; and, this new system enables us to meet recent federal banking regulations requiring tougher Internet banking security.See the helpful links below for more information.
Conversion News
What you need to know about the conversion to the new system:
Internet banking inaccessible 12 a.m. Fri., Aug. 17 to 12 p.m. Sun., Aug. 19.
- You will not be able to access your accounts online during the conversion process which is scheduled to take place from midnight on Friday, Aug. 17 until noon on Sunday, Aug. 19. As an alternative, you may use our Bank by Phone feature by calling 866-762-7782.
Online bill pay will be unavailable during the conversion.
- You will not be able to access online bill pay beginning at midnight on Friday, Aug. 17 until noon on Sunday, Aug. 19. This downtime only affects your ability to log into the bill pay system and initiate a payment during those hours. Because no changes are being made to our bill pay system, all previously scheduled bill payments--even those scheduled to post Aug. 17 through Aug. 19, will be paid as planned.
Scheduled account transfers will not carry over to the new system.
- Any transfers that you schedule in the old Internet banking system for August 17 or later will not automatically carry over to the new system when it goes live at noon on Sunday, Aug. 19. You must re-schedule these transfers in the new system. Please note that if you do not have access to a computer during this transition, you can always transfer funds between accounts by calling Bank by Phone at 866-762-7782.
Logging in for the first time is easy.
- The first time you attempt to log into the new Internet banking system, you will be asked for your existing Login ID (the Login ID you used for the old system). Then, follow the prompts to create a new password.
- The second time you log into the new Internet banking system, you will need to authenticate your computer. Follow the prompts to complete this process.
- After you have completed both process--creating your new password and authenticating your computer, you will be able to log in and go directly to your account.

- We will post FAQs and user guides on the website when the new system goes live. Also, our customer service representatives will be available to take calls starting at noon on Sunday, Aug. 19 in addition to providing extended hours Monday thru Friday.
