PlainsCapital Bank Welcomes Kameron Richards as Senior Vice President, Wealth Management Market Manager for Lubbock Region

DALLAS (August 19, 2025) – PlainsCapital Bank is pleased to announce that Kameron Richards, Esq. has joined The Private Bank at PlainsCapital as Senior Vice President, Wealth Management Market Manager for the Lubbock Region. He will be based at the Bank’s 50th and University location in Lubbock.

In this role, Richards will lead The Private Bank’s wealth management strategy in Lubbock. He will oversee a team that delivers personalized trust, investment, and estate planning services to individuals, families, and organizations. His responsibilities include driving business growth, encouraging collaboration across departments, and upholding the highest standards of client service and fiduciary oversight.

Richards joins PlainsCapital from Herring Bank, where he most recently served as Senior Trust Officer. During his five-year tenure there, he held several leadership roles, including Vice President of Corporate Trust, and specialized in corporate trust and wealth management. Prior to that, he practiced as a tax and estate planning attorney at Neil Deininger & Company.

Richards earned a Bachelor of Business Administration, magna cum laude, from Texas Tech University’s Rawls College of Business. He received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 2019. While in law school, he received the Craig Sterne Memorial Award for academic excellence in estate planning and taxation, as well as the Pro Bono Silver Award for his commitment to volunteer legal service.
